Miel Blanca is a regional lot produced from carefully selected coffees delivered by smallholder farmers to the Coope Atenas mill in Costa Rica’s West Valley. Around 1,300 producers are members of the cooperative, growing Caturra and Red Catuai at elevations between 1,100 and 1,400 meters.
This lot uses a white honey process, where the coffee is depulped and only a small amount of mucilage remains on the parchment before being sun-dried on patios. The result is a vibrant and refined cup with notes of golden kiwi, navel orange, pomegranate, and dark chocolate, complemented by a bright, sparkling acidity.
