Sourced from smallholder farmers in Chiapas, Mexico, this organic-certified coffee is grown at elevations between 1,200 and 1,800 meters and carefully processed to preserve its natural sweetness and character before decaffeination.
The coffee is decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Process, which uses pure spring water from Pico de Orizaba to remove 99% of the naturally occurring caffeine without chemical additives or solvents. This gentle process preserves the flavor and nuance of the original coffee, resulting in a sweet and balanced cup with notes of chocolate, vanilla meringue, and dates.
